Mattering

So many of you are practitioners who plan to stay practitioners rather than moving into faculty roles. With that in mind, I wanted to share this article about how to work to make sure your scholarship connects theory and research with practice.

I am pretty transparent that I am not interested in work that does not center practice. I want to know more about work that makes a difference to the doers as much or more than the researchers and the thinkers. Not that doers don't think or that all scholars are totally removed from practice.
