Life Beyond the Ph.D.

I read the article below the other day and wanted to share in my blog. (I guess all of these blog posts could start that way). It talks about the importance of having a hobby while in grad school. I would argue hobbies are good for us across the lifespan. Well, maybe I wouldn't ARGUE, but I'd share my thoughts on the topic.

Basically, what I'm saying is that there is more to life than classes and writing and work. You probably already know that, but are you living that? I read something the other day that said "What you spend your time on is what you value." It might be worthwhile for all of us to take a look at what that means for us individually. While there are weeks you have to spend more time doing some things than others, where are you investing your time and energy overall?

Have a nice day.
